It was in 2007, he visited a hundred of years old Hakka village in Meizhou, Guangdong province that gave him the inspiration. Liang was fascinated by the scenery, the very special and rare Hakka architecture, and the culture of the local residents.
In the following three years, Liang created 103 paintings themed with the sceneries of Meizhou. He named the collection – “Illusion and Imagination”. The collection is available in Chinese ink wash on paper and oil on canvas. Liang’s works of art were exhibited in Hong Kong in October 2015.
