Graduated from Guangzhou Art Academy in 2007, Zeng is specialized in oil painting. Since then, Zeng established his studio in Xiao Zhou Cun, the art district of Guangzhou, where he lives and works with hundreds of artists coming from other parts of the country. 

     Apart from oil painting, Zeng has special interest in photography and calligraphy, which won him a nationwide prestigious award in 2010. 

     “Portraits by Zeng disseminate a strong scent of solitary and gloominess. People just could not believe that they are the works of a young artist, but with deep thought,” said art critics.

     Actually, the same loneliness and wilderness can be found in most of Zeng’s paintings. The young artist has injected his own emotion into his paintings just like blood transfusion – Zeng is painting himself all the time.
