Wu was born in 1986 in Qing Yuan, Guangdong province. He was graduated from the Guangzhou Art Academy and currently residing in Guangzhou.

     Wu believes his work of art carries the DNA of his ancestors just like himself. Memories of his life before this world, the family tree, the environment of the present society are all vividly reflected in his paintings in a two dimension format. 

     “Life is a DNA reproduction of the past. We are living in the past and we tend to forget the past. I want to go back to the past through painting,” said Wu.
