Amy was born in 1974. She is from Henan province and currently residing in Shenzhen.

     When she was a child, Amy had developed a special interest in drawing. She would draw whatever she found interesting anywhere, anytime. When she grew up, Amy had the opportunity to enroll at the Art Department of Henan University to begin her formal training on art. She was graduated in 1995 and became a professional artist specialized in oil painting.

     In 2008, Amy decided to continue her study and research on oil painting at the art studio of the famous oil painting master Cui Xiao Dong. For more than a decade, Amy continuously focused on the study of oil painting and did a lot of research work on the effect of various aspects of color scheme on oil painting.

     “Painting is all about colors. Just like many artist friends told me the same – we have to learn to know about colors – it’ll be a long way to go,” said Amy with a grin.
