Born in 1960, Wang is a native of Qinzhou city in Guangxi province. He was graduated from Guangxi Art Academy with a Bachelor Degree in 1984. Wang is actively participating in art promotion and he is council member of many art related institutions and associations in Guangxi province.

     Wang is specialized in Chinese ink wash painting and woodcut printmaking. Selected artworks of Wang were acquired by the Shanghai Art Museum, major galleries and private collectors in China. 

     In the past decades, many of his artworks were displayed in major exhibitions in the country and abroad including Hong Kong, Japan, Canada and the United States.
     Wang is a very quiet and low profile artist. He has a vision that one day, Chinese contemporary artists will become the 'talk of the town' in the world. He is happy that his son is following his footsteps.
