Professor Ying was born in Henan province in 1960. He has been residing in Guangzhou since the 80s. He studied in Guangzhou Art Institute and was graduated in 1985. He continued his art study and oil painting research at the National Art Academy. After graduation, Professor Ying held several solo exhibitions in China and abroad. 

     In 2009, Professor Ying was being decorated at the 60th Anniversary of the Peoples’ Republic of China by China Minzu Cultural & Art Union for his achievement and contribution to the art development in China.   

     Through the years, Professor Ying has developed his own style of oil painting and widely praised by experts in China. He lives a carefree and simple life with the sketch book in his pocket wherever he goes. 

     Besides painting, Professor Ying is a writer. He had published many books, not only on art, also on commercial subjects, with titles such as “The Success Path of Man” and “Successful Entrepreneur”.
