Lin was born in Guangdong province in 1990. He studied art at the Guangzhou Art Academy and specialized in art craft. After graduated from the art school in 2012, Lin established his art studio and concentrate on the creation of lacquer painting.

     “Lacquer paintings by Lin are just simple, elegant and utterly beautiful,” commented art critics.

     The art of lacquer painting is developed by Chinese artists and has a short history. Lacquer painting is only getting more popular in the late 90s and many of the artists are inventing different styles and formats with sophisticated methods and ingredients to accomplish extraordinary results.

     Lacquer is also considered a new form of painting art created by the Chinese in modern time.
