Peng is from Shandong province and he was born in 1973. Peng was graduated from Shandong Art Academy Sculpture Faculty in 1997 and obtained a Bachelor Degree in Sculpture.

     He continued his study at the Guangzhou Art Academy and in 2012 Peng was awarded a Master Degree in Sculpture. He is now teaching at the Sculpture Faculty of Guangzhou Art Academy.

     In 2012, Peng’s creation of a collection of sculptures titled “Mankind” was acquired by the China Sculpture Museum for permanent display.

     In 2014, the collection was honored at the celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of the People’s Republic of China and the 12th Guangdong Art Festival.

     Peng used to spend long hours, even on Saturday and Sunday, working at his studio in a remote part of Guangzhou.

     “Every piece of my sculpture artwork is just like my daughter. I wish I could have more time for both,” said Peng with a grin.
